week 5- Ouran High school host club

Oura high school host club follows the narrative of a young girl who lives a seemingly normal life, but what sets her apart is that although she struggles to meet her everyday needs financially, she goes to a prestigious school known to host the most luxurious and wealthy students  from all over.while looking for a quiet place to settle in to get work done , she stumbles into the host club room , a collection of boys playing different roles dependent on their aesthetics in order to spend their leisure time. In a flash of a moment , fuji is indebted tot he club after she knocks over a rare  vas  destined to be auctioned off at a whopping 8 million yen.  The kicker to it all is that one by one the club members start to discover that their new club-mate isn't what they seem to be, but they keep the secret until the lead host finally makes the discovery and from here on out , the way they treat her becomes a lot more familial, understanding, and lovey. OK, lets get real, why. are.the.boys.all.so.fucking.clueless? WHO thought that the tropes used for atleats half of this host club was ok or legal? we have the incestuous twins that play hard on the brotherly love trope that quite frankly make me super uncomfortable, and then we have the loli type character thats DANGEROUSLY pedophile material . I mean honestly, come one , theres so many other types that could've been portrayed that wouldn't be completely sketch , yet here we are, a buncha ANIMALS . regardless, its a recommended read if you like silly slice of life , but also want to feel like a dirt bag for feeding into the host tropes that so shamelessly parade around .
