Kabis "My lesbian experience with loneliness" talks about the authors struggles through maturity after graduating and finding herself spiraling without any sense of purpose and direction. Shes spent a life unsure of who she was and the path she wanted to take, dealing with depression and the anxieties and pain that comes with all while trying to balance becoming an adult she wasn't even sure she wanted to be. This entire comic spoke to me on a personal level, at one point or another we've been unsure of what we wanted or what we should do , could do , wanted to do ?  It all seems like too much to handle, and with years of struggling to find a balance and a sense of true self she starts to realize that the only way to live is to want to live for yourself and not for anyone else. Years of unanswered questions about self and other things led to unexpected desires and encounters but those unraveled the true underlying issues that needed to be addressed. Throughout the story we see that gender and sexuality seemed to be the cause for a lot of the discourse and she doesn't know what direction to head in but as she starts to piece the smaller bits together , bother her gender and sexuality start to follow suite. After her encounter she realized she had started to romanticize what had happened and it was then that she had to journal this experience because it revealed a trend in her idea of connections.  How was she going to deal with her platonic connections to her peers if she hadn't payed mind to her romantic or familial connections and the issues she hadn't answered. Not to say that these things are set in stone but gender and sexuality are fluid, forever changing and she may find herself as one thing now but eventually things may progress later down the line.
