In class reading: Silver spoon

1) what is your reaction to the text you just read?

Silver spoon definitely isn't anything ive ever read before. i suppose its pretty funny for a farm manga?  some of this stuff is relatable but im curious of what the climax or resolution to this story is going to be because you can only do so much with "farm' theme before it gets weird but i wouldn't put it past these authors if they already published an entire series on this. Would i recommend this ? absolutely not.

2)what connections did you make with the story? discuss the elements of the work with which you were able to connect.

i suppose the connections i have with the work is familiarity with what the protagonist is dealing with,  considering i do have vague knowledge of everything he's going through but never had to deal with it head on for an allotted amount of time. some things i have done like rearing calves and handling hens but aside from that , not much else. Well, those things and also starting anew at school and trying to find a rhythm to stay on par with everyone else even though they're much more experienced and qualified to do the thing that i have to sorta make a jump and a leap to keep up.

3) what changes would you make to adapt this story into another medium ? what medium would you use ? what changes would you make ?

what changes would i make ? EVERYTHING , this story isnt really relatable outside from the fact that its essentially a slice of life set in school with the exception that its farming ?????? why ? why? what was the point of this ? could they not have gotten that same point across and used a different theme like maybe ;  an art school , or culinary school, or medical , LITERALLY ANYTHING MORE RELATABLE............ ok aside from that  id most likely just adapt this into an anime , simple enough just follow the same plot but change a few things out here and there , add a little fan service and BOOM, ya have some media people actually want to consume. listen, im not discrediting people who actually attend programs like this (my little cousin is doing this exact thing ) but all im saying is that , you could've just saved the weird for something alot more entertaining.
